Welcome to our Model Railway Society

We’re a friendly bunch of people with a shared interest in Model Railways, and it doesn’t matter if you’re new into the hobby or a fully fledged verteran, you’ll be welcome to come along.

From the 26th July 2024, we’ll be meeting at Cranwell Village hall, just outside Sleaford:

Club Open Day

We’re delighted to say that our first club Open Day was a huge success! It took part on Sunday 22nd September at Cranwell Village Hall and had a good number of layouts on display and hopefully showed what we’re about as a club.

We would like to thank all of the people from Sleaford and the surrounding areas that came out support our club, along with the visiting layouts and our sponsors. The money raised from the day has secured the longevity of the club, and we’re looking forward to working on many more projects in the future!

We support the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance

Sleaford and the surrounding villages are incredibly rural when it comes to access to emergency care with our nearest A&E department being nearly 20 miles away. This is why as a club we feel that it’s important to support the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance in everything that they do, and going forward from 2025 we intend to do a ‘Charity Model Makers’ exhibition showcasing not just model railways, but models accross all genres. Profits from the exhibition will be donated directly to the organisation, and all updates will be posted in our News section.

If you wish to donate to this fantastic charity that has helped so many people from Sleaford, feel free to do so.
