As summer fades and the exhibition circuit livens up again, NG34MRS are on the road twice this September.
Our second trip of the month is to see our dear friends at the Boston Model Railway Society. They are holding their 2-day show on 26th and 27th September 2026 and we shall be exhibiting 2 layouts there.
We will be pootling along the A17 with Ian Hides’ newest creation “Witham Valley Tram Museum” and the club’s own Shuntingdon layout.
“Witham” depicts a fictitious narrow-gauge heritage tramway and transport museum set in Lincolnshire.
“Shuntingdon” is a OO gauge shunting puzzle at the front edge and an automated 3-train shuttle at the back of the layout overlooking the Lincolnshire Wolds. It is designed to provide ‘have a go’ entertainment from ages 4 to 104.
This is an ALL HANDS request for members to attend in support of the Boston MRS club fund-raising cause and to volunteer some time to run the club layouts. If you are willing to assist on our club layouts please add your name to the list on the information board at our Friday meeting or alternatively, let Ian or Colin know soonest possible so that we can book you in as exhibitor crew.
