Please be aware that the Membership renewals period for 2026 opens on 1st April and runs until 30th April.
You’ve enjoyed playing trains. You’ve had many a fresh brew lovingly prepared by Jim and a bit of cake generously offered up by Richard. On the downside you’ve had to endure Barry’s ‘sense’ of humour for the 1-in-30 pun that is a cracker (well you did have to wafer it….). You may even have been on the receiving end of some actual railway modelling advice and assistance or have enjoyed assisting someone. Well it’s that time of year to renew your commitment please.
Renewals process
Current members will shortly receive a renewal reminder from our Club Secretary, Colin Houseman. This will have details of how to renew and options for payment to be made.
Anyone not renewing their membership before midnight 30th April will be deemed to have left the club. From 1st May, Colin will confirm any lapsed member names to the Membership Secretary, Barry Brown, who will then begin the process of erasing the member’s PII data as per our responsibility under GDPR. Obsoleted member data will be deleted by 31st May.
Lapsed, obsoleted, members may not return to the Friday night club activities unless they complete a new membership application form and submit it with the appropriate membership fee.
Membership cards and discounts
Your membership card is time limited for the subscription year only. It is only valid with the supporting traders if it is within date. Opting to not renew will therefore also lapse any discount entitlements.
